Low battery, intermittentPower constraints while traveling or during outage
Power, internet, and technical issue Slack statuses should quickly explain why replies or work may be delayed. Include the problem, your availability, and when you expect to update the team.
Slack keeps the emoji and text in separate fields. Copy each one below, or use AutoStatus to set them together.

Workplace etiquette
Technical issue statuses should make the constraint obvious, especially when calls, uploads, or response time are affected.
For unstable internet, teammates mainly need to know whether messages, calls, and uploads are affected. “Internet issues, slow replies” is usually enough.
Power outages can change quickly. Use a status with an update window so people know you are not ignoring Slack and that the situation may change.
If you can answer messages but cannot do normal desktop work, say “mobile only.” It is more precise than simply saying you are unavailable.
Use a direct status like “Internet issues, slow replies,” “Connection unstable,” or “Mobile only.” Add an update time if possible.
Use “Power outage,” “No electricity, mobile only,” or “Power outage until 3pm.” Mention whether you can still respond from your phone.
